About Darlene
I have learned, through trial and error, that in order to become the best at what you do you must position yourself to perform at your highest level on a regular basis. I have devoted nineteen years to this game with an undying passion and relentless work ethics. In November, 2009 I earned playing status and am currently a member of the LPGA Development tour, called the Futures tour for 2010. I carded my first win as a professional, while competing on the Moonlight Tour in 2009. I am extremely excited about positioning myself to compete full-time on the LPGA Legends Tour.

I have been an athlete most of my life. Besides golf, I was also involved in basketball, track and field, cheerleading, volleyball, and dance. I earned a full four-year scholarship to Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. I was the first female “All American basketball player” from Texas Southern. I took my basketball talents to the next level by playing in the Women’s American Basketball Association (WABA) in 1987.
I began to play golf in 1990 and I have excelled to the level of a tour professional. My ultimate goal is to play on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour on a full-time basis. I am looking forward to another successful season. With God’s grace and your support, I would like to play full-time on both the Futures Tour and the Legends Tour. If you know of anyone who is capable of and willing to sponsor me, please contact me ASAP. God Bless You!

Hi Darlene,
You keep doing your thing on the golf course. I know that I am playing the race card, but I would love to see more sistas out there competing on the LPGA. It wouldn’t hurt, either, to have other blacks on the PGA Tour, besides Tiger.
Keep up the good work and God bless you, as well.

P.S. Nice photos!!
